Greetings from Tokyo, Japan.

It is our pleasure to announce the 3rd INGLLE Meeting of 2026. We would like to invite scholars and researchers from around the world who are engaged in research on our three core themes: Longevity, Sustainability, and Family Business.

Since the launch of INGLLE in 2023, we have hosted 43 presentations. The cumulative number of participants has exceeded 350, representing as many as 14 countries, with the highest level of international participation recorded at our meeting on June 6. The breadth and depth of the presentation topics, as well as the quality of the discussions, have been truly remarkable. Many presenters have further refined their papers after receiving feedback at INGLLE and have subsequently submitted them to leading international journals. We are delighted that INGLLE serves as a valuable stepping stone for researchers seeking to disseminate their work globally.

For this third meeting of 2026, we are pleased to present another exciting program featuring thought-provoking presentations on topics such as a long-lived enterprise in Finland, the crucial role of business succession systems, and Japan's unique mukoyōshi (adopted son-in-law) and placeholder CEO, the role of a Long-Lived Enterprise in Tajima, Hyogo Pref., focusing on “community capital” and “regional familiness”, among others.

We hope you will not miss this opportunity to further enrich your knowledge of sustainability, longevity, and family business research, while engaging in stimulating discussions with fellow scholars. We look forward to welcoming you to the meeting.
