The 4th ICC-INGLLE Conference 2026 in Kyoto― Hybrid Conference with a Concurrent SHINSE Visit Program ―

The International Research Centre for Centennial Management (ICC) is pleased to announce the 4th ICC-INGLLE Conference 2026, to be held in Kyoto, Japan, from December 10 (Thu) to 13 (Sun), 2026.

The main conference takes place on December 12 (Sat) at Meitokukan Hall, Doshisha University ― an institution with a proud 151-year history ― in a hybrid online/offline format in English (with Zoom caption translation). From 14:00 to 19:00 (Japan Standard Time), seven ambitious and thought-provoking presentations from around the world will explore the themes of Longevity, Sustainability, and Family Business.

Alongside the conference, ICC will organize a SHINSE Visit Program ― guided tours, with English interpretation, to century-old firms in Kyoto, the Capital of long-lived enterprises. Participants will encounter management wisdom handed down over centuries at firms such as Hiyoshiya (founded 1860), Heihachi-Chaya (1576), Hosoo (1688), and Minokichi (1716).

We warmly invite researchers and practitioners to join us in Kyoto for this international gathering dedicated to the study of centennial enterprises.
